So I was able to get the pictures on here sooner than I had anticipated. Here they are...I hope this provides a better idea of the aspects of the bike. Also, I was just as daft as ever when posting that first bit...the derailleur is a Shimano Skylark SL10 which suggests a late 70s or early 80s bike. It has Chang Star brake levers, basic side-pull caliper brakes, a Shimano thumb shifter, 26 inch wheelset. Sorry the first post was so empty of information, but I hope this helps.
