What a coincidence -I just decided to retape the handlebars. Went to find a picture of how the cables were before I ripped the foam off and found your post! With the taping, did you do a first pass under the shifter cables and then another layer over top (part way up). Just thinking if I ever need to replace those. Beautiful job! I'm inspired to really get mine cleaned up now. Other than the foam, the only thing that seems to have suffered is the bottom bracket. Any suggestions out there on that?
