The R is for a Reynolds fork.
Thought was a titanium frame but the rear drop outs are too thin, agree looks like and aluminum frame.
Where in DC did you get the bike?

Really? I doubt that given the location this photo was taken. Any givaways from the "R" badge on the fork, or what you can make out from the head tube badge?
