campy shifters/shimano derailleur
So my old campy rear derailleur gave up the ghost and I need a new one. My price range is around <$60 but the mechanic at the shop says that because I have Campy shifters (down tube on a Vitus 979 frame) Shimano won't work and I have to shell out $100+ for a Campy derailleur, or change the shifters to Shimano. Does this sound right?
