While Racer Ex was getting a silver in the TTT I was getting dropped 6 miles into the race. Never got on top of my breathing and was having difficulty towards the end of the first long straight. The lead rider surged a bit after I pulled near the top of a rise just before turn 1 and I popped. They made the corner without me and I yelled. They slowed and looked back but not enough that I could get back on. They looked back again and that was that. I don't blame them for not waiting, as I've been part of a trio that has left the 4th. First time that I've ever been dropped during a TTT and it's not fun. Finished the course for training if nothing else.
A little hill work today after the Indy 500. Two maybe three crits tomorrow and Tuesday night worlds after that.
