Are you close to Buffalo N.Y and can cross the border easily? It's best if you have a mailbox in the US and have them ship stuff there. You then cross the border, pick up stuff and then cross back. It's almost worthwhile to apply for a Nexus pass which I have and that cuts a lot on the border line up. You also know that our exemption rate has increased after June 1st. which means you can buy more stuff and not pay duty and tax after 24 to 48hrs stays. Sometimes, I'm saving so much on bike parts shipping as well as the parts prices from all places that I rarely buy in Canada anymore.
I also buy stuff from ThorUSA and if you spend more than $200, he'll ship it for free. His priority US mail can be insanely shipped fast to US mailbox -- forget USPS. Besides, I kind of like to deal with the lady on the phone of ThorUSA-- she's nice and somewhat flirtatious too to get you buy more stuff. Opps, sorry Thor; is that your lovely wife -- Mrs KHS fielding calls? Please send my best regards!
