I used the bobike mini with my daughter. It was great. I had the optional windshield which really helped extend the usefulness. It kept her out of the wind in cold weather. We got caught in the rain several times as well and she stayed completely dry as long as we were moving. I felt it was much better than the other options available at the time like the ibert and some of the seats that positioned the child behind the handlebars, directly where your knees need to be.

The only, small, complaint I have is that the harness could be better. It didn't keep her upright when (not if) she fell asleep. I rode ten miles home one day holding her with one hand. Realistically, I don't think she could have ever fallen out, I was more concerned with her comfort and frankly the appearance of riding along with a 1yr old slumped over sideways in the seat.

I think there are more options on the market now, but it's a good place to start.
