Rear wheel "moaning" when rolled backwards - brake rub?

My bike has started doing something kinda odd. It's a '12 Sirrus Comp with only about 125 miles on it. (I've had it a month.) In the last week or so it's started doing something funky - when I roll it backwards (like when parking it) there's a moan that comes up from the rear. If I pick up the rear and spin the wheel it looks like the brake is rubbing near the stem - but pretty much in reverse. Not so much going forward. I couldn't replicate it at the LBS, but I'm wondering if I need to adjust the brakes or something? Does this sound familiar to anyone?
