Just this morning I was changing clothes in the office locker room when some guy struck up the usual conversation, nice day for biking, how far do you go, how long does it take, etc. I (surprising myself) rattled of my stats, 6.3 miles, 35-40 minutes, and that, averaged out over a calendar year, I save $23 a month in gas and insurance premiums. As he left the room he commented, "I'll have to talk to you about that."
