Last night I did my first real imperial century. I had come close at 97mi, 87mi, and a whole bunch of 60-70mi rides this year. But last night was a true 100mi. And the kicker is that
it was done through the night. Left my town at 6pm and headed north to Portsmouth, NH for last call, and from there headed on to Wells, ME to catch the first morning train home. Carried the bike up my front steps at 8:55am.
