Looks like a Gary Fisher Paragon to me...there's one abandoned on my commuter rack I've been debating how to liberate. They were upper mid-level MTBs...depending on the year. Yours looks older, mid/late-90s. It isn't terribly valuable, depending on your definition of valuable. $300 max, and I think yould have a hard time finding a buyer. $200 is more likely.

Its value as a rider depends on what you want to do with it. If this is a commuting bike...city bike, etc., I'd change over to different tires - not knobbies - and ideally I'd replace the fork. Older suspension forks are heavy and waste a lot of energy. If it locks out, I'd lock it out.
