So the moderation bandwagon is the best. If the longest ride you've ever done was 68 miles, as you stated in the General Cycling forum, I doubt you have really "biked like a maniac", and you're not a long distance cyclist yet.
But yes, you have given yourself a death sentence ... or rather, your parents did. Sorry to break it to you ... you are going to die.
