Day one of breaking in my new Brooks Professional.
...uh, what? Well what did you think the title of the thread meant?
This is my second Brooks Pro but the first one was broken in over thirty five ago and I am still riding it. It seems to me that the first one took quite a long time to break in properly. So far the new one is not all that uncomfortable but I ended up sliding around on the new slick surface on the ride tonight. I just hope the new one ends up being as comfortable as the old one. I will be absolutely delighted if the new one lasts 35 years and I am still riding thirty five years from now. I will try to post a picture of the new one next to the old one tomorrow when I can get some good pictures.
