I care that companies who are involved with the sport I love actually have a vested interest in making the sport better and more popluar for all. If a company is willing to ditch at a moments notice, and does nothing for it, then they are worthless.
Haro, GT, Mongoose, Standard, Hoffman, Eastern, T1, S&M, etc., etc., etc...
Those companies live and breathe BMX. They are in it for the money, and they are in it until the end. When GT had issues, they basically died. Then a few people who cared about BMX got together to work the GT brand name back up. There is some love of my sport right there and I respect that.
Huffy I have no respect for, never had, and never will. Even if they make some decent bikes some day, I still wouldn't recommend them or have respect for them. Not until they actually have something riding on it and are willing to stick things out.
