First, are you sure these bikes are the size you need, around a 20" frame or 50cm? That's for about 5'4" +/-.

Neither bike offers a triple chain wheel, so you could be at a disadvantage in hill country.
Both bikes appear to come with 23cm or 25cm tires. You want a wider tire for more cushion if you're going to be in the saddle all day, but the frame design may limit brake, fork, and chainstay clearance.
The 330 has mismatched wheels.

Unless you have your mind made up that it has to be a TREK (I have several, but then again, it appears I have several Raleighs, and Motobecanes as well), there are some very good listings for small road bikes in your market.

Make sure they have eyelets to mount a rack.

Also, since that Trek 1200 is local and also on CL, take it for a test ride.
