Back on topic, noteworthy buildings along the commute.


These old Navy Airship Hangars were built in the 1920's. They are slated for demolition, but it is being fought by preservationists. They may save the one on the right with the help of Goodyear. They are still the largest wooden buildings in the U.S.

I got the image from Google earth, but I pass it daily on my commute
