Hi everybody, good to see such a huge online presence of cyclists!
I'm getting back into cycling after a 10 year absence (kids will do that!). From 12-30 I did various amounts of riding on Mountian and road bikes until my wife and I discovered tandems in our mid 20s. We spent several happy years tandeming until our son was born, but we've barely been on since.
I'm returning to cycling not only as a form of exercise and escape, but to introduce my son to the joys of riding as well. We still have our 1996 KHS tandemania, which is still in good working order if a bit dusty
and I have a late 80s Nishiki modulus I bought used several years ago as my single bike when I no longer trusted my ancient Schwinn super LeTour and 24" mongoose MTB.
We are now looking for a trail-a-bike like ride for the kiddo so he can join us on the tandem or me on my single as we ride the local trails and hook up with the local club.
