Why not buy a cheap setback seatpost and play around a bit to see if you like a further back seating position? Just make sure you carefully record your previous position in case the experiment doesn't work out.

This is what I was thinking...anyone point a brotha to cheap 27.4 with at least 2cm more setback than my Thomson with zero?
PS: I'd at least like to explore a more "usual" position on the bike. Always a searcher in the Halls of Power.
