Holy cow, this bicycle has been sitting outside my local grocery store, unlocked, for over TWO MONTHS!!
There's no question in my mind that this bicycle is clearly abandoned, because I see it there DAILY, at all hours, even when the store is closed. Yes, there are employees that work there overnight; however, I know it does not belong to anybody on third shift because
I work third shift and I have already asked around. Nobody knows who it belongs to.
So, for the last two months I have left it alone, but it drives me crazy to see it just sitting there unused when somebody could be riding it! I mean, it's not exactly a high-quality bicycle, but I'm sure any kid would love to have it, right? Anyway, I leave on tour in a few days so I'm still not going to do anything about this mystery bike--I'm just curious to hear your ideas (silly or serious) on what you would do in this situation. Discuss!
Btw, in case you can't see the pic...it's a shiny red mtb-style with the words "Cherry Crush-er" (yes, like the soda) on it.
