My today was riding the cross bike in overgear for 1.5 hrs. Tomorrows ride is 2 hrs Z2 on the MTB for skills. We are supposed to get 1-2 inches of rain through tomorrow so I changed up my ride. I rode the cross bike in overhear for 2 hrs on a new flowing MTB trail in Strongsville. It takes some good driving over the roots and rocks with a cross bike since there is no suspension. The ride went well the first 1/2 hr then the thunder storms began. I decided to continue riding, due in part to Velomanti Rule #9 "riding in bad weather makes you badass. Period." on a cross bike, on a MTB trail, in the pouring rain makes me double badassed.... At least in AJ land.
