Say, I rode to my son's soccer games today (so whittier to Capistrano) and wanted to do Santiago Canyon, but getting there is a little iffy, so I used the route that you did on the Big Ring Century. I didn't realize you guys skipped Cannon, so I did Cannon (or rather the hill on Imperial that leads up to Cannon) and I have to say that Nohl Ranch Rd sucked rocks. That thing was 10-11% on a road that really wasn't bike friendly, and they ran a century up there? Bah.

Too bad you guys skipped Cannon, that was even worse! 12-13%! I expect the route you took wasn't much better though. Worse than GMR IMO.

Man, it was an oven today - seemed like I was looking at 105 degrees on my garmin for most of the day. OMG it was hot...

I see you've already checked out the strava thing but that was just a hot, hilly, hot and hilly day on the bike. Oy.
