There is this for about 6000 dollars. The BugE. Comes in kit form. Street legal in the USA. DOT requirements aren't so tough. My electric bike is already DOT approved. The would not have to go above 50. Thats plenty fast enough within the city. You ONLY need over 50 mph if your going on the highway. Crash tests, not a problem if this is made as a 3 wheel car.

turbo1998, I see you have given this a lot of thought. Neat ideas there dude. Tell me, why do you like the two wheels in the front as opposed to them being in the back with a single wheel in front?
