Alternatives to clear frame protection patches
A number of companies such as Lizardskins offer clear frame protection patches to prevent cable rub and protect the downtube.
I find the prices of these products to be rather expensive for what they are and am trying to figure out of cheaper alternatives.
I think a roll of good quality clear packing tape may do the trick. Has anyone tried this or got any cheaper alternatives to these patches that do the same job at a much cheaper price?
