I feel it's important to clarify something here... Yes, the 500 can do turn by turn directions, but only on a course that you download from a site like RideWithGPS, Strava, etc. You can't input an address into it and navigate your way there if you're lost. So basically, the 500 makes a good computer for those who want to train for a specific event and will mostly just want the ****ions of a standard cyclocomputer. It's not a cheaper replacement for the 705/800.
