Had my wife follow in our old minivan with crappy headlights, she said they make me quite visible even at long distances.
The movement of lights in the rear do a lot making the bicyclist more visible. That it what it all about. The strips I have are also, of the reflective nature, with a small battery, I am getting blinky and something mount two Superflash Clones to.. Anything that adds to our rearward and forward visibility is good for us..
