oh, big warning. the Ergon grips say "NOT FOR USE ON CARBON BARS", presumably because the clamp on the end would crack the carbon? also, each version of the Ergon grips come in like 4 variations, small vs large hand size, and normal vs short (for use with twist-grip shifters).
I have the Ergon GP3's and love em. However they do get loose sometimes and you need to tighten them up a little after 2 or 3 runs. I think they could have come up with a better mechanism for securing the grips on the handlebar. It's not a deal breaker by any means but just an FYI. As well, I would recommend getting the large grips for anyone. I have fairly small hands and the large size feels about right. I mean the small size must have been meant for a teen if the large fits perfect for me. Otherwise great grips and I'm glad I went with the GP3's over the 2 or 5's.
