But before you do that, buy a shorter stem. And then buy a set of riser bars to see if it's really just too much weight in front of the headset that's making everything too floppy.
Or even just take the bars off the bike completely and try doing a no-handed trackstand. If that makes it way easier, simple proof that it's the weight of the bars / length of the stem causing the issue.
