Instant karma's gonna gitcha! And reward ya!
A few weeks ago a friend and I are riding along, when we both say out loud, "PHOOOOOONE!" because we spotted a nice cellfone in the road! Actually on the side of the road, and we rode on either side of it. It was a really slick Moto picture phone, and we played with it a bit and talked about making prank calls, calling long distance, taking funny pictures, etc but what we really did was call the people whose numbers were stored in it the next day and meet up with them and returned it. No thanks, not even an offer of a free coffee, (we met 'em at a starbucks) so oh well.
Now, my friend has a bike computer on her bike, and a similar time ago she parked it at an Albertson's (market) and someone apparently took the computer head. Bummer. Well, a couple of nights ago, she parks there again and someone returned the computer! She found it on the bike again when she came back out.
Now that's karma!
