my diy is has similar guts and size as the one you have but I'm driving the XPGs at 1amp versus the 800ma the Amoeba used with his XPG option. I liked the design of the Amoeba but thought a milled alum block would be easier to work with then trying to assemble the alum L stock into place. My switch is on the back, same one as the Amoeba too.
