Agree - don't want to jump to conclusions based on internet. Just reading what the recovery is for hip arthro is a bit daunting with regard to being able to ride. But doc notes did have as part of plan arthro...so right now I'm just a bit freaked as I don't want to have my riding interrupted if I can help it. But right now it IS interrupted as my knee is too painful and am concerned knee pain is somehow related to issue in hip...maybe been compensating and has resulted in knee issue.

Once I referral is processed I can get in to see Ortho and ask questions that I SHOULD have been more assertive to ask last Feb. Learned lesson...if don't understand don't leave w/o asking for clarification. I hope we can come up with a plan that allows me to ride if that is possible. I don't want to just medicate and mask if that is just going to cause more problems but will see what he says.
