you shouldn't have any problems. the roads are all smooth and well-maintained.
hotels/guesthouses readily available (see CGOAB).....although your idea of 'decent'
may differ from mine. good riding on the east coast, don't skip the highlands in
the center. west coast is more a maze of freeways with heavier traffic.

cycling to/from changi airport ist verboten. taxi or subway to your hotel where you
can store your box. easy 27km ride along the coast from downtown to the ferry terminal.
ferries run more often on weekends. if traveling on a weekday, you may have to
wait an hour or three for more passengers to show up. once across, only 18km to your
first town (sungai rengit) with 3-4 hotel options.
