Seriously though, don't we have some nice rides here in the US? I'm pretty sure there are routes that could be planned here in the US that would be similar to L'Eroica.
Of course we can come up with special rides/events in the United States.

What we can"t synthesize or replicate are the incredible cultural experiences experiences only available in the Tuscan hills.

The food, history, museums, roads, cities, people are so unique to this region.

After slogging up the hills outside Volterra, I can't imagine the riding being any more difficult for that matter.
