Hi, I was hoping some of you experienced tandem owners out there could help me determine if a MT800 I'm considering is a good value. It would be my first tandem. It is a '99, is in excellent condition, hardly a scratch, and seems to be basically factory. It has mainly Deore XT components with Avid brakes, and new road tires. It is in great tune. The owners were asking around $750 for it. Does that sound like a good price? I want to be sure I don't pay too much, because I may want to sell it again if we decide we would rather have a road Tandem. We're thinking we might like to have the option to ride some mellow trails around our home, but will have to see how much we actually use it for that! So, I want to be relatively sure I can resell it for about what I paid if I have too. Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!
