Good choice, have fun with the project! Whenever I look for a project for a family member, the first thing I look at after size is the condition of the paint/decals/and frame overall. Addressing problems in those areas tend to be expensive. So I would MUCH rather pay a touch more for perfect paint, than get a discount on a bike with frame/paint deficiencies. Enjoy it!
