My Miele is pretty nice, good but not great. I believe Miele's are a bit underrated. It is setup in my basement as my winter trainer. As a trainer, I ride mine nearly every day.
That certainly doesn't sound like a 1987 Condor. I can imagine the crankset, as it's the right level but not those Sprint derailleurs. They're too upscale and almost certainly replacements. The 1986 Condor used SunTour ARx, the 1987 Condor used Shimano Light Action and it was dropped from the lineup in 1988. I'd appreciate some photos and the serial number. If it's one of the earlier Condors, it may be a Japanese frame and have the serial number in an alternate location.
