My budget is less than $1000. I am a male, 24 years old, and fairly tall 6'2" 210 lbs.
This will be my everyday bike as I do not own any others. I want a bike that is a
blast to ride, I might commute on this bike but if I did it would be less than 2 miles to my University per day. I have other means of transportation so the purpose of this bike is really just a hobby, which is why I want something that is
FUN to ride. I think most of my time will be spent on the road with some urban mountainbiking type stuff. Here's a video or two show you the type of riding I think I would be doing. Maybe some light trials.

I wasn't sure if I should post here or in the mountain biking section, but I'm really torn about which type of bike to buy. Please help me decide which direction to take.
