Tip: throw a couple latex gloves in your saddlebag or pockets when you go riding so you don't have to get your fingers dirty.
Yeah definitely getting my gloves today.

One of my mentors/professor at uni is a racer who is really experienced in bike fitting and maintenance so he helped me with the fitting as well as cutting the seat-post down by a few inches not beyond the threshold limit.

As for the rear bag, I am guessing my best bet is the smallest size I can find as for now to fit it nicely with my tools in it.

Do all new bikers have a OCD towards the cleanliness of their bike? Somehow I am. Whenever I see dirt and spots on it, no choice but to wipe them off nicely since its a white frame!
