The best way to combat leather sag is to lace the saddle starting 3.5" from the nose to about 1" from the rear metal frame (0.3" spacing with 14 evenly spaced holes). I keep the holes at 0.425" from bottom edge of the flap. Even my Brooks PRo is laced.
