Did you see the leader do the face plant in stage 3? He hit a left hander a little too hard, ran over a lane marking, and hit the deck. That was the race for him. It was a good case study in paying attention and riding within yourself.
It was. I've enjoyed Paris-Nice, but Tirreno-Adriatico is turning out to be more entertaining. Some interesting sprint finishes in the early stages (Cav furious with his lead-out for leaving him high and dry on stage 2) and two really good climbing stages in the last couple of days.
