I just got up and the sun is out and there's lots of blue sky. I should have gone with my original gut instinct.

I'll be kicking myself all day.
There are a few things to get used to around this area, Ron. Namely the weather. If it looks rainy at 5:30 it generally won't be by 8. Weather Channel radar is ineffective unless it's right overhead. A lot of the time the clouds will veer North once they get inland. "Cold" is relative, it doesn't usually stay "cold" all day, and being a Georgia Boy, you'll learn to appreciate the cooler days of winter, when you can actually ride without feeling like you're in a 95 degree sauna.
Neither cold nor rain seem to last for long here.
Oh and just to make you feel better, I had a great ride on the lower tampa bay trail, the weather was actually on the muggy side though.

Look forward to meeting up with you sometime for a ride on the Withlacoochee!
