I like unicrown forks, they are especially nice on fillet brazed frames. Despite being a massive cynic about all sorts of things I can't really get on the hate-train today... There's also loads of room to be creative in the construction of a unicrown fork, the fork blades can go up or down the steerer a bit. I do think they look a bit out of place on a lugged frame but I also think lugged forks look more out of place on non-lug frames.
