The orange sleeves are just to protect paint from being scratched by the swedge;if you cut it off,it may give you a little extra clearance. Otherwise you might have to just go with a thinner cable. Some hardware stores will make cables like that,you could have them make you a whole new custom one or just a loop through your rails to run that cable through.

You could also do away with using a cable for your saddle by rubber cementing a BB into the head of the hex bolt that holds your saddle on.

Hm ok I hope your right about the orange thing.. ill cut it off and try... what do you mean by
