Wiggo has always been a bit ambiguous in his responses about the Tour this year. Froome says he has been promised the leadership, but of course he may have heard what he wanted to hear ; I wouldn't be altogether surprised if Brailsford had left himself some wriggle room.

Either way, Sky need to sort it out behind closed doors, because any uncertainty will allow the media to wind Froome up and won't do much for the team's performance.
