I wish some of those people weren't so fast at responding to the good ads! I've seen several cheap bikes (e.g. $20) that were turned around and sold for $150+. One of them needed a simple rear derailleur adjustment, and that was it. There was another older steel MTB that I would have been interested in fixing up as a town bike, but it sold within a few hours and ended up on Craigslist within the next 24 for 6 times the price. One of these days I'll be able to get one of them!
