Sport Chek has a lousy service and return policy. It's really much like Dick's Sporting Goods here in the U.S.
They're not that reputable after the intial sale of the bike. However, if the sale on the bike gives you substantial savings, then it might be worth your while to purchase from Sport Chek, but find a good LBS for mechanical service. I would take someone knowledgeable about bikes along with me when purchasing a bike from Sport Chek.
