So much for waiting on the LBS to correct the shifters, decided to have another LBS install a Triple SLX crankset & SLX front derailleur. Now I have an all Deore 10 speed drivetrain, (30 speed total) and still weighs in at the same. Plus has realistic gearing for me, 11-26 10 speed rear, 44-32-22 front, super fine tune shifting, with plenty of low gearing for hills. And if I ever need more than a 44 x 11 gear, with 175mm crank arms. Time for a full on road bike. I did test ride a Specialized Sirrus Elite with Disc, http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bik...irruselitedisc & lets just say. The 7.6 FX rode like a full suspension MTB compared to it. And the Sirrus weighed a hefty 7 pounds more, I'm so glad I stayed with the FX. This bike now is a light weight, tricked out rocket ship.
