Yes, I notice exact the same thing while driving. Another example would be people killing to get in front of you when there is a red light, just so they can test their brakes.
I'd be pretty wealthy if I had a penny for every time a car/truck "buzzed" by me really close, only to slam on their brakes at a red light and see me ride up next to them a few seconds later.
