Howdy, welcome aboard! Don't worry, you'll get used to the traffic soon. When I got back to cycling 6 years
ago, there was no bikeshare and very few bike paths. I educated myself on how to ride safely(taking the lane,
proper attire, using signals, etc.) and now I'm very comfortable in traffic. Bike New York offers free safety
classes, I highly recommend them:
