You're a couple of thousand miles ahead of me but I didn't get a road bike until December 08. But it's pretty cool to feel better at 71 then I did at 61. I rode 65 miles today and I never dreamed of doing that 5 years ago. Not only has cycling helped my physical strength but has put me in touch with some of the nicest people I've ever known
