1. RAGBRAI has 3 main divisions. Freds on mountain bikes w/ gym shorts and running shoes, severely drunk yuppies, and (wannabe) roadies who love to pass all the Freds and yuppies because their purchased UCI team kits make them almost as fast as Chris Froome.

2. The first day is fun.

3. The food is awesome.

4. Leave early every morning unless you want to get caught in a 16,000 rider peleton with people who have never ridden in a group. Seriously.
